TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Quality Administrator at our Shell Rock, IA facility.
The Quality Administrator will provide administrative project and process support to relieve and assist department/plant managers or staff of administrative details and duties.
What you'll do:
- Receive Product Verification and Tracking
- Scan and index documents
- Verify and certify material test reports comply with specifications
- Set up and manage paper and/or electronic filing systems
- Review QA paperwork done by others to check for errors and ensure that all documentation is properly filled out
- Pull MTRs from Trace for parts being shipped
- Able to manage QA documentation
- Verifies packets, ensuring that all documents are signed and entered into the system
- Manage/maintain inspection logs in Excel
- Track and update personnel training requirements
- Input all QA found defects into the Defect Database
- Compile and upload Quality Index/Dashboard information to share drive
- Scan documents and file in appropriate computer files
- Schedule meetings
- Prepare documents and presentations
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- High School equivalent, with 2-4 years of related experience
- Has developed specialized skills or multi-skills through job related training or experience
- Experience with Excel, Word, and PPT
- Typing skills
- Experience with Outlook email and calendar
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner and handle distractions and interruptions
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
