Job Description Summary

This position is part of the Quaker Fellowship program. The person in this role is responsible for performing select facilities duties as listed in the job description.


This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing the facilities deferred maintenance list, tracking work orders, assisting with the management of the van fleet, and working events. This position receives direct administrative supervision and guidance from the Assistant Athletic Director/Director of Facilities.





Job Description


Responsibilities



+ Support pro-staff with day-to-day tasks within DRIA facilities


+ Work with Operations Staff, Facilities Services, Housekeeping, and contract services for all athletic venues and events to meet the needs of coaches and administrators. Act as secondary event manager for various athletic contests as well as outside events.


+ Submit work orders as needed after building walks and as requested by facilities professional staff.


+ Review closed work orders in AIM (facilities software) for completion and cost analysis


+ Manage the DRIA facilities deferred maintenance list with oversite from the Facilities pro staff.


+ Manage the mileage and gas inventories of all departmental vans. Ensure cleanliness and report maintenance issues. Create van schedule and distribute keys as necessary.


+ Follow-up on specific housekeeping projects and cleaning requests per facilities pro-staff


+ Review and assist with set-up and breakdown needs for intercollegiate events and outside rentals.


+ Attend weekly facilities and project meetings with facilities staff. Take notes and follow-up on requests of facilities pro-staff.


+ Complete weekly equipment checks in Pottruck and Fox Fitness Center.


+ Conduct weekly athletic facility walk-throughs and complete facility checklists pertaining to each athletic space. Enter work order requests for repairs as needed.


+ Perform other duties and assists with special projects as assigned





Qualifications



+ 1-2 years of experience within an intercollegiate athletics department preferred.


+ Pursuing bachelor’s degree or equivalent.


+ Strong verbal and written communications skills.


+ Possesses working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms, including Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.


+ Ability to professionally collaborate with a diverse group of coaches, staff, and students-athletes.


+ Exhibit strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and independently execute tasks on a deadline.


+ Ability to work a flexible schedule(nights/weekends /holidays) as needed


+ Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
