Quality Control Technician - 2nd Shift
The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for testing and auditing production lines and finished goods. You must have the ability to understand technical concepts and be proficient with computers and technology. A successful candidate will have the ability to work independently with little supervision and will display a high degree of integrity as it relates to product quality. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced people-oriented environment.
OBSEVING HEALTH AND SAFETY PRACTICES
Observe health and safety practices when performing tests.
PERFORMING HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES
Perform housekeeping duties as needed to maintain cleanliness in the QC area.
INVESTIGATING CUSTOMER REJECTS
Investigate customer rejects conduct process and root cause analysis.
PERFORMING QC TESTS AND AUDITS
Perform all QC tests and audits requested by management.
SUPPORTING PRODUCTION
Support production as required.
ENSURING EQUIPMENT CONDITION
Ensure all testing equipment is in proper working condition.
CONDUCTING FINISHED PRODUCT TESTS
Conduct a variety of tests on the finished product to determine product quality within an established range of performance.
CREATING AND DISTRIBUTING DEFECT REPORTS
Create and distribute in a timely manner professional defect reports.
INSPECTING RAW MATERIAL
Inspect raw material as required.
REJECTING SPECIFICATION PRODUCTS
Reject all specification products and place questionable products on hold for disposition by management personnel.
COMMUNICATING WITH OPERATORS
Communicate with all shifts QC Technicians about product quality problems and status of work in progress.
COMMUNICATING DOCUMENTATION AND TRAINING
Communicate document and help train operators on customer requirements.
PERFORMING OTHER RELATED DUTIES
Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
