Job Title: QC Technician II
Location: Worcester, MA – 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $32–$35/hr
Duration: 1 year
Schedule: Sun–Wed and Wed–Sat; Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM during first 6–12 weeks of training
Perform sample retain/discard activities according to GMP procedures.
Conduct routine Environmental Monitoring (EM) testing in a GMP environment.
Perform EM during aseptic fill operations.
Execute laboratory test methods supporting product/material release.
Maintain GMP-compliant laboratory records, procedures, and systems.
Support investigation writers and approvers by gathering required data.
Trend laboratory data to support trend reports.
Write or revise procedures under guidance.
Enter laboratory results into LIMS.
Perform clean-room gowning and follow applicable GMP requirements.
Support laboratory operations across client buildings and remain flexible for weekend/holiday work.
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or related scientific discipline.
Hands-on QC Microbiology experience.
Environmental Monitoring (EM) laboratory testing.
Aseptic technique.
Biosafety hood experience.
GMP laboratory practices.
cGMP documentation and record maintenance.
Laboratory testing supporting product/material release.
LIMS experience, preferably laboratory result entry.
Ability to work in clean-room environments and perform gowning.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Pharmaceutical QC Microbiology experience.
Clean-room experience.
Knowledge of USP, EP, JP, ICH, and cGMP requirements.
Experience with aseptic fill operations.
Environmental Monitoring in GMP manufacturing environments.
