Shift: 1st (6:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Thursday, 10 hours)

Wage: $18-$20, based on experience

Department(s): Technical Operations

Reports to: Quality Control Manager

General Purpose of the Job:

Review, scan, and file drawings and reports according to the job file, input billing requirements as needed and create and review QC document packages by shipment.

Summary of Major Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Review spool drawings and reports for accuracy.

  • Scan and maintain job report or records on the computer system.

  • Create and review QC document packages.

  • Create Code Data reports as necessary.

  • Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.

  • Find and retrieve information from job files in response to requests from customer, project Managers or QC Personal.

  • Scan or read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be classified or filed.

  • Place materials into storage receptacles, such as file cabinets, boxes, bins, or drawers, according to job or by classification and identification information.

  • Assign and record or stamp identification labels in order to scan documents to the job folders.

  • Rejects work that is not accurate or missing information.

  • Conducts work safely and follows all safety procedures.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience is a plus.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents for accuracy.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to speak effectively to customers, clients, project managers, shop personal and QC personal and other employees of the organization.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
