We are currently looking for an Electrical Quality Control Foreman to join our team!
Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Oversee all onsite quality control processes
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Evaluate and approve technical documents, including shop drawings, material test reports, and inspection reports, for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Track and verify all delivered equipment, ensuring it matches approved documentation, and report any discrepancies.
- Coordinate all testing and inspections, including pre-test walk-downs, while working with the GC and GC’s quality manager.
- Perform routine site audits and inspections to ensure quality installations, code compliance, and adherence to safety standards.
- Attend safety training and comply with all company and site safety policies and procedures.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
- Hands-on experience as an Electrical Foreman with experience working with Quality Control teams during the punch list or turnover phase.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with GCs, project managers, foremen, and company leadership.
- Familiarity with construction software.
- Experience with construction project management tools (Procore preferred, but not required).
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills.
- Flexibility to travel and work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Solid technical knowledge of electrical installations.
