Description
DUTIES/ Responsibilities:
This position responsible for performing HACCP, SSOP and Quality Checks to insure that product meets plant, USDA and customer expectations.
- Must have a basic understanding of microbiology, HACCP and SSOPs & GMPs
- Knowledge of pre-operational sanitation checks
- Perform various quality control functions including but not limited to inspection and audits.
- Inspect various product to assure compliance with Company specifications
- Other duties as assigned
- Completing accurate and detailed paperwork on products
- Communicating clearly with Superintendent, Lead and or Managers.
- Other tasks/duties as assigned by Lead, Manager and or Other Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong knowledge of the production floor, industry and products.
- would prefer to see previous experience in industry and or similar work environment
- Dependable and enthusiastic
- Must be a team player, have positive attitude, good people skills, ability to work well with others
- Willing to be flexible, have time management skills and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Computer/ tablet skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good math skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Physically capable of performing line work
- Excellent attendance and work record.
