We are proud of our product and our team, and we're looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Supervisor to join us in Madisonville, LA!
What You'll Do
As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you'll be a key part of our quality team, ensuring food safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Supervise and lead a team of quality assurance technicians in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
- Ensure products meet regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, HACCP, etc.) and company specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports for quality assurance activities, including audits, test results, and corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis of product quality issues and work with the production team to develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of QA team members.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role in the food manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including FDA, USDA, and HACCP.
Physical capability to stand for 10 hours, lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in fast-paced conditions.
Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends.
