Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid – Local Candidates Preferred)
Duration: Contract – 3 Months
Interview Process: Face-to-Face Interviews Required


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help pioneer the creation of large-scale automation solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing tools, enhancing automation frameworks, executing and maintaining automation scripts, and collaborating closely with QA Leads and development teams. Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), Digital Asset Management systems, and scalable dynamic rendering engines is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation projects, including architecture, test plans, and framework enhancements.
  • Collaborate with development teams on implementing new features and automation libraries.
  • Develop test automation for web and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
  • Build end-to-end automation infrastructure covering deployment, execution, and reporting.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing architecture and processes.
  • Develop self-service tools, APIs, and scripts for continuous automation across multiple teams.
  • Increase automation coverage and reporting efficiency across applications.
  • Maintain existing automation frameworks and automated test repositories.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and automation principles.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Mocha, Jest, Selenium WebDriver, and related technologies.
  • Experience building automation frameworks for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Strong knowledge of modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with CMS, Databases, Web Services, XML, HTML, CSS, and DOM elements.
  • Hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Ability to work with complex enterprise and multi-tier applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
  • Familiarity with scalable dynamic rendering engines and enterprise content delivery systems.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices is a plus.
