QA Release Engineer

Our client, a leading innovator in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a dedicated QA Release Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a QA Release Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Software Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: QA Release Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $65-$70/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Analyze pull requests from developers, performing functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Triage system flags and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and impacts.
• Report and track regressions and defects systematically, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Continuously improve QA processes to prevent performance degradation and enhance testing efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance.
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies and tools such as TestRail or equivalent.
• Familiarity with issue tracking and project management tools like Jira.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, along with excellent communication abilities.
