    Summary & Description

    This full-time position is focused on ensuring product and process excellence by leading the Quality Assurance department. The ideal candidate is a proactive QA professional with a strong background in quality management, preferably in plastic manufacturing, and experience implementing quality systems and leading cross-functional teams. This is a strategic role with significant opportunity to drive continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards across all operations.

    Main Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives.

    • Inspect raw materials and finished products according to inspection plans; make decisions on batch release or blocking.

    • Lead, manage, and coordinate the Quality Assurance department and its staff.

    • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, R&D) to ensure consistent, high-quality service and product delivery.

    • Communicate quality-related findings, interpretations, and reports to management and external customers.

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

    • Strategic thinking with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.

    Educational & Other Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control; experience in plastic manufacturing preferred.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.

    • Effective cross-functional collaboration skills.

    • Preferred bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or German.

    Location:

    • Manufacturing facility will be built in the Houston area ETA 2026
