QA/QC Supervisor

The Opportunity

The QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing quality assurance and quality control activities on construction projects. This role ensures compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards through inspections, documentation, and coordination with project teams. The QA/QC Supervisor supports the QA/QC Manager by supervising field quality processes and resolving issues to maintain high standards and minimize rework.

What you will do?

Quality Implementation

• Assist in implementing project-specific QA/QC plans and inspection procedures.
• Supervise and guide QA/QC inspectors and technicians on-site.
• Review submittals and RFIs for quality compliance as directed by QA/QC Manager.
• Participate in pre-construction and quality meetings.

Field Inspections & Compliance

• Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and construction activities across disciplines.
• Perform daily visual inspections and document workmanship and materials.
• Witness material testing and commissioning activities.
• Verify delivered materials and equipment against approved specifications.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate inspection and test records using tools like Procore.
• Prepare daily logs and quality reports for review by QA/QC Manager.
• Track non-conformance issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Communicate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Support QA/QC Manager in leading quality discussions and meetings.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols on-site.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in construction projects, including supervisory experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ACI, OSHA 10/30-hour) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in inspection and documentation software (e.g., Procore).
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
