Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, policies, procedures, and food safety programs. Manage and develop the QA/QC team, including coaching, performance management, and training. Monitor quality metrics and KPIs, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Investigate and resolve customer, supplier, and internal quality concerns. Oversee complaint management processes and ensure timely resolution. Conduct and support internal and external audits, inspections, and certification activities. Ensure compliance with FDA, FSMA, HACCP, GFSI, GMP, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, R&D, Customer Service, and other cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements. Support supplier quality programs, raw material evaluations, and product specification management.The Successful ApplicantA successful QA/QC Manager - Food & Ingredients should have: Required Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field. 10+ years of food safety and quality management experience. 15+ years of experience within food, beverage, ingredient, or related manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, and food safety regulations. Experience leading quality audits, corrective actions, and compliance programs. Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams. Preferred Master's degree in a related scientific discipline. HACCP Certification. GFSI audit experience and certification. Lead Auditor certification. Experience working within a manufacturing environment supporting complex customer requirements.What's on OfferCompetitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $135,000 USD.
