Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer / Test Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in performance testing, test automation, SQL/ETL validation, Agile delivery, and test leadership across complex, multi-team platforms and a proven ability to plan, execute, and optimize end-to-end quality strategies that achieve reliable, compliant, and timely releases.

Responsibilities:

• Lead test strategy, planning, and execution for complex features spanning multiple teams and platforms.
• Enforce automation-first approaches, frameworks, and best practices for test data, defect management, and reporting.
• Drive performance testing and optimization. Monitor execution and manage risk-based test suites.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive test cases from functional requirements and story acceptance criteria.
• Execute manual and automated tests across functional, integration, regression, accessibility (ADA), and end-to-end scopes.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using RAFT, Selenium, or Java-based frameworks as needed.
• Contribute to test data management processes and ensure data compliance requirements across environments.
• Triage defects with development teams and stakeholders. Communicate status, risks, and variances.
• Continuously improve QE practices through lessons learned and process feedback loops.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of QA testing experience, including team lead responsibilities on complex client/server applications.
• Hands-on performance testing and automation testing experience.
• Proficiency with automation toolsets such as RAFT, Selenium, and Java.
• Strong SQL scripting and ETL testing skills. Experience with functional and database testing.
• Strong Agile background. Proficiency with tools such as JIRA and ALM/Octane.
• Ability to create well-structured test cases and build required test data for execution.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience across testing levels: unit, integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and ADA requirements.
• Strong problem solving, analytical abilities, and independent work style.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with cross-functional teams.
