Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a QA engineer for a Contract with a client in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate with experience designing, executing, and automating functional, UI, API, and performance testing activities to ensure software quality, reliability, and seamless user experiences.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
QA engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for UI, backend, API, and end-to-end application testing.
Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites using Playwright, JavaScript, and modern test automation tools.
Perform API, functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure application quality, stability, and reliability.
Manage test environments, test data, and deployment validation activities while supporting CI/CD processes using GitHub and Concourse.
Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to drive issue resolution.
Contribute to quality assurance best practices, automation strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and software delivery quality.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
8-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Test Automation, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering.
Strong expertise in UI Testing, Backend/API Testing, Playwright automation, JavaScript, performance testing, and automated test framework development.
Proven experience with test environment management, CI/CD tools (GitHub, Concourse), API testing tools (Bruno), unit testing frameworks, defect management, and delivering quality solutions in Agile environments.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
