Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an QA Engineer for a Contract with a client in Bloomfield, CT/ Franklin, TN. The ideal candidate with experience leading end-to-end API testing, integration validation, and quality assurance initiatives for complex healthcare systems.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Lead end-to-end API and integration testing activities for healthcare interoperability and CMS Burden Reduction initiatives.

  • Validate HL7 FHIR-based REST APIs, including payloads, schemas, authentication, error handling, and compliance requirements.

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scenarios to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and seamless integrations.

  • Collaborate with Agile teams during PI Planning, Sprint Planning, system demos, and release activities to support successful project delivery.

  • Perform integration testing across upstream and downstream systems, identify defects, and work with development teams to drive issue resolution.

  • Define test strategies, create test plans, manage test data requirements, and provide comprehensive test evidence to support feature acceptance and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 4-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, API Testing, Integration Testing, or Healthcare Technology environments.

  • Strong expertise in HL7 FHIR, REST API testing, healthcare interoperability, and end-to-end integration validation.

  • Experience designing and executing automated and manual test strategies while ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and high-quality system integrations.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $54.00 per hour
