Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright / Cypress)
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in test automation.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in UI automation, API testing, regression automation, and end-to-end validation using Playwright and Cypress.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright and Cypress Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across POS systems Validate integrations between backend services, APIs and downstream applications
Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality across releases Analyse defects, support root cause investigation, and improve overall test coverage Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support release readiness Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in Playwright and Cypress automation
Good experience in JavaScript / TypeScript for automation scripting Experience in UI testing, API testing, regression automation, and integration testing
Good understanding of POS systems / retail workflows and end-to-end transaction validation Familiarity with Git, Jenkins / Azure DevOps, test reporting, and Agile delivery
