Job Description

We are seeking an Application Architect III to join our Global Markets Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python development, DevOps, and CI/CD automation and a proven ability to design, implement, and govern secure software delivery pipelines while managing application compliance and automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain tools and services that provide CI/CD capabilities across the software lifecycle.
  • Validate access control mechanisms to meet standards for access, ownership, and authentication.
  • Review application server configurations to confirm CI/CD onboarding prerequisites are properly implemented.
  • Respond to risk and audit issues related to access control and release management, ensuring compliance with separation of duties and policy standards.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and Solutions Engineers to document CI/CD platform components and changes.
  • Execute change tickets for CI/CD onboarding and decommissioning using approved change management processes.
  • Partner with Site Reliability Engineers on monitoring and alerting enhancements.
  • Manage applications to meet risk and compliance requirements across environments.
  • Develop automation solutions for network-defined automation, APIs, and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of software development across frontend and backend languages, including Python, Go, Yang, NSO, Ansible, Java, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Bash.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD execution and automated software testing.
  • Experience building solutions for network-defined automation and cloud IT, including API development and integration.
  • Knowledge of distributed and parallel architectures and modeling languages such as UML and ArchiMate.
  • Understanding of IT standards, controls, and secure application development practices.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including waterfall, spiral, agile, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize-and-stabilize, and DevOps.
  • Ability to define system designs, APIs, data flows, and inter-service interactions as a technical architect.
  • Experience delivering high-performance and scalable solutions; low-latency experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Remedy, and ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Big Data technologies.
  • Certifications in Cloud, Docker/Containers, or OpenShift.
