Alliance Resource Group is partnered with a global technology company with a large-scale, multinational footprint is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to support income tax provision, international compliance, and tax transformation initiatives. This is a high-visibility role sitting at the intersection of technical tax work and process innovation, with exposure to complex cross-border structures and SOX-regulated reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and review the quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740, including deferred tax accounting, tax account roll-forwards, APB 23 analysis, and stock-based compensation accounting.
  • Calculate and maintain tax reserves (FIN 48) and prepare all related GAAP financial statement disclosures.
  • Support U.S. federal, state, and international income tax compliance, including preparation of Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865, 1118, estimated tax payments, and year-end extension requests.
  • Perform international tax calculations including E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, foreign tax credit, and Section 163(j) limitation analyses.
  • Provide technical support for Pillar Two compliance and provision modeling.
  • Assist with federal and state tax examinations, including documentation, responses, and exam strategy support.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley; support internal controls documentation and testing for the tax function.
  • Contribute to tax transformation efforts, including process automation, data analytics improvements, and operational redesign of tax workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Active CPA license
  • Hands-on experience with ASC 740 / income tax provision
  • Experience with U.S. international tax compliance
  • Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws with the ability to apply them in new or complex situations

Preferred:
  • MST or MBT degree
  • Mix of public accounting (major CPA firm) and corporate tax department experience
