Purchasing Coordinator


Location: Fort Worth, TX

Pay: $23–$25/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM


Position Overview:

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for supporting purchasing operations by managing supplier communications, purchase orders, order tracking, and customer order status updates. This role works closely with vendors, internal teams, and customers to ensure timely delivery of materials and parts in a fast-paced aviation environment.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Process status reports for open customer sales orders and obtain updates on open supplier purchase orders

Expedite internal and external parts orders through communication with suppliers and operations teams

Secure and analyze supplier quotations

Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with domestic and international suppliers

Track and manage purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships

Resolve delays, shortages, and order-related issues

Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards and company requirements

Maintain accurate records of purchases, orders, and supplier agreements

Process purchase orders according to company guidelines

Support senior buyers with purchasing activities

Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned


Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

3+ years of experience in purchasing, customer service, sales support, or a related field

3+ years of buyer experience preferred

Aviation aftermarket experience preferred but not required

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills

Excellent attention to detail


Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with keyboard shortcuts preferred

Criminal background check and drug screen required
