West Coast Magnetics is looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our procurement operations - processing quotes, purchase orders, and work orders while collaborating with teams across the company to keep our supply chain running smoothly.
What you'll do
- Contact vendors to obtain quotes and secure the best pricing and delivery dates
- Create and maintain accurate quote and delivery spreadsheets
- Process purchase orders, work order edits, and packing slips
- Handle material receipt discrepancies and related documentation
- Expedite PO items and ensure timely order fulfillment
- Produce clear, accurate records, memos, and paperwork as needed

What we're looking for:
One (1) year work experience in Purchasing.
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Windows)
Ability to produce fast, accurate documentation
Experience in an office or purchasing environment (preferred)
Ability to learn ERP software and WCM processes
Strong team player with great attention to detail

Salary Range: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
