Our team is the heart of our success, and we're looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to support our company operations.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Status: Full-Time

Location: Twin Falls, ID

Position Summary: The Purchasing Agent is primarily responsible for purchasing essential equipment, materials, tools, etc for the completion of all aspects of installation and service jobs while ensuring that all essential items are in stock or properly scheduled for delivery to field personnel. This individual will execute purchasing and receiving functions in an organized manner using company-approved methods and record-keeping.

Responsibilities:

  • Source, purchase, and maintain inventory levels of HVAC equipment, parts, materials, and supplies to support service, maintenance, and installation operations.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely material availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages, and coordinate replenishment to prevent delays in customer projects and service calls.
  • Create and manage purchase orders while ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
  • Track backorders, warranty claims, and vendor performance to minimize operational disruptions and improve purchasing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, service, installation, and management teams to forecast material needs and support business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, inventory data, and vendor documentation within company software systems such as ServiceTitan or ERP platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse and/or purchasing
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Proficient in using Service Titan preferred
  • Certified Purchasing Professional certification
  • Experience in HVAC preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Highly organized with attention to details
