    Looking for a stable, hands-on driving job with no overnight travel? Red Dirt Septic is hiring a Pump Truck Driver / Operator for our Edmond  location. In this essential role, you’ll drive and operate a pump truck to service wastewater tanks at homes and businesses throughout the OKC metro. You’ll enjoy steady, local routes and a dependable team environment, no long hauls, no overnights.

    What You’ll Do
    As a Pump Truck Driver / Operator, you’ll:
    • Drive to residential and commercial job sites using a company pump truck
    • Perform pre-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues
    • Maintain and organize tools, hoses, and safety gear on the truck
    • Locate and access wastewater tanks (may include hand digging when needed)
    • Pump, transport, and properly dispose of wastewater at disposal facilities
    • Keep accurate logs and service records in the truck
    • Communicate clearly with the office and customers about job details
    • Follow all safety and DOT regulations—this is a safety-sensitive role
    What You Bring
    To succeed in this role, you must have:
    • A high school diploma or equivalent
    • A valid CDL with tanker endorsement
    • Physical ability to lift, dig, and work outdoors in various weather
    • A clean driving record (MVR required)
    • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (per DOT requirements)
    Working Conditions
    • Shift: Day shift (1st shift), with occasional overtime, evenings, and weekends
    • Environment: Outdoor conditions—heat, rain, humidity, and physical labor
