About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Pump Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and testing cryogenic pumps and related equipment. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment, working with precision tolerances, and delivering high-quality repairs that directly impact customer operations.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and rebuild cryogenic pumps, motors, and accessories.
  • Analyze damaged components and determine root causes of equipment failures.
  • Perform precision assembly, alignment, and adjustment of bearings, seals, and rotating equipment.
  • Document assembly measurements and critical clearances.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on incoming equipment.
  • Rework or repair components as necessary to meet specifications.
  • Assist with failure analysis investigations and reliability improvements.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, repair, maintenance, or shop environment.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Required Skills

  • Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
  • Rotating equipment repair experience.
  • Machining experience.
  • Welding certifications.
  • Cryogenic equipment experience.
  • Experience with laser alignment equipment.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems.
  • Understanding of valves, regulators, solenoids, relief devices, and related system components.
  • Valid driver's license.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary range: $46,278 - $65,000 (paid hourly) + OT
