What Will You Get To Do:
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Support territory growth initiatives through dealer engagement, customer outreach, market research, and business development activities.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within federal, state, local government, K-12, and higher education markets.
- Maintain CRM records, track opportunities, and support sales forecasting activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
Dealer Development & Channel Management
- Develop and strengthen relationships with dealer partners and independent representatives.
- Conduct regular joint sales calls with dealer sales teams to generate project opportunities and increase market penetration.
- Deliver training programs that improve dealer understanding of products, contracts, and public sector selling strategies.
- Identify and develop high-potential dealer partners in target markets.
- Drive dealer engagement through regular communication and business planning.
End User Engagement
- Call directly on government agencies, school districts, colleges, universities, municipalities, and other public sector organizations.
- Build relationships with procurement officials, facility managers, workplace strategists, ergonomists, and key decision-makers.
- Generate end-user demand that creates pull-through sales opportunities for dealer partners.
- Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and educational sessions for customers and influencers.
Contract & Cooperative Purchasing Development
- Promote and maximize utilization of government contracts and cooperative purchasing agreements.
- Educate dealers and end users on available contract purchasing vehicles and procurement options.
What Will You Bring:
- Work Experience: Prior internship, customer-facing, sales, leadership, athletics, or campus organization experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Interior Design, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Computer Skills: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office 365 and Copilot, along with ability to learn ERP, CRM and OMS.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively across a diverse customer-base; good verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills with ability to deal with individuals at all levels, both inside and outside the organization
