Job Description

This position is grant funded. Therefore, it is solely dependent of availability of grant funds.

Under the HIV Ryan White Division

Under the direction of the Disease Intervention Manager, provides program coordination and administrative support for Ryan White, HOPWA, State Services, and other grant-funded programs. Assists with the preparation, collection, review, and submission of required grant reports and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with HRSA, DSHS, HUD, and City of Laredo Public Health Department requirements. Assists with data collection, reporting, fiscal documentation, monitoring activities, audits, and site visits. Collaborates with program, fiscal, and administrative staff to ensure timely and accurate submission of reports, supporting documentation, and funding agency requirements. Coordinates with providers, pharmacies, community organizations, and funding agencies to support program operations and service delivery.

Under the HIV Ryan White Division

  • Coordinate Ryan White Program activities and services.
  • Assist with data collection, tracking, validation, and reporting of Ryan White program data.
  • Maintain accurate and complete program records in Patagonia EMR, TCT, and other required systems.
  • Support program monitoring activities, audits, fiscal reviews, and site visits by preparing and organizing required documentation.
  • Assist with quality management activities, including chart reviews, data validation, and corrective action follow-up.
  • Review client records for compliance with Ryan White Program standards and requirements.
  • Maintain resource directories and information on available community services and providers.
  • Collaborate with medical providers, pharmacies, contractors, and community partners to support Ryan White service delivery.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual, and special program reports.
  • Monitor program activities to ensure compliance with HRSA, DSHS, and City requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining program policies, procedures, forms, and educational materials.
  • Participate in required trainings, meetings, and continuing education activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client and program information.
  • Assist with implementation of quality improvement activities and program initiatives.
  • Will be required to drive a City vehicle for City business use.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate's degree* or 60 college hours from an accredited college or university in Public Health or a related field
  • At least one (1) year of experience in healthcare or health related experience
  • Council of Higher Education Accreditation (C.H.E.A.)

Proof of TB Test/Screening will be required to be presented prior to employment.
