Job Responsibilities
Step into a key leadership role where you will guide a dedicated team and oversee the daily operations of the Health Education and Promotion program within the Community Health Strategy Division. This position offers the chance to inspire staff, strengthen program impact, and champion education that empowers individuals and families across the community.
The program serves a wide range of audiences through trainings and educational classes grounded in nationally recognized and evidence-based programs and promising practices. A central focus is substance use prevention, delivered through dynamic educational programming in County elementary, middle and high schools. The role also includes coordinating staff training at retail outlets to help prevent youth access to substances. Signature educational offerings include Botvin Life Skills, Catch My Breath and other proven curricula.
In this leadership position, you will collect and analyze program data, identify and assess community health care and health education needs, support the development of funding proposals and grant applications, prepare and manage program budgets, and create clear and compelling reports and presentations for stakeholders.
If you are energized by meaningful community impact, thoughtful strategy and the opportunity to build strong programs that truly make a difference, this role offers an exciting path forward.
