This is work of a professional nature designed to do work planning promoting public health initiatives implementing public health programming and evaluating program activities and implementation.An employee in this class is responsible for providing assistance and guidance to partners and organizations involved in program implementation. Key responsibilities may involve assisting supervisors with the development and implementation of in-service training programs and reviewing and revising program-related protocols. Work is under the direction of a Public Health Administrator and is in accordance with applicable regulations and policies. Public Health Representatives may serve as peer coaches to one another to promote teamwork and experiential learning.Performance is appraised through annual performance evaluations.

The County owns and maintains 521 Bridges and 378 miles of Roads. It also provides maintenance of the grounds for nine (9) County parks consisting of over twelve (12) thousand acres of park land. The County maintains approximately three (3) million square feet of building space which includes 600,000 square feet of leased space in over 130 buildings throughout the County. The Public Works Department oversees the County’s Capital Projects Program for all roads, bridges, and facilities associated with the Public Works Department and Facilities Management.
