General Description\n \nThe Orange County Health Department has an immediate opening for a full-time benefited clinic staff nurse.\n \nThe work involves the responsibility for providing basic public health nursing care in homes, clinics, or other community service settings. \n \nWork is performed under the general supervision of a Public Health Nursing Supervisor I with some leeway to exercise independent judgment within the framework of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in the performance of duties, both in terms of planning and accomplishing work, and in making decisions regarding needs and requests. leading others may be a responsibility of this class depending on the assignment.
