Public Accounting Tax w Audit Director Level

Kforce's client, a well-established local, very successful independent Public Accounting firm is seeking a Public Accounting (Tax with Audit) Director Level. This position is hybrid in the Boston, MA area with salary and benefits package and other company perks.

Overview: The client is looking to bring on a Senior Manager or Director level with eye toward eventual partnership. This is a clear partnership track with long-term growth potential. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership while advising a diverse client base of closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex audit, accounting, and tax engagements across multiple clients
• Review and/or prepare financial statements and tax filings
• Conduct technical research and prepare supporting documentation and memos
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Provide tax planning strategies and identify value-added service opportunities
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff; perform performance evaluations
• Manage multiple client engagements and serve as a trusted advisor
