Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a PTG Senior. Developer for their Bentonville AR/Sunnyvale CA/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain Alation Data Catalog objects that accurately represent enterprise data assets and support intuitive discovery for data practitioners.
Create and refine Alation Workflows that document data lifecycle, usage patterns and stewardship responsibilities to promote transparency and accountability.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and product teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions implemented on Hadoop and Alation.
Optimize existing Hadoop jobs and queries by tuning configurations, refactoring code and improving data structures to reduce latency and resource consumption.
Establish and enforce data quality validation rules and monitoring practices that ensure trusted information is consistently available for decision making.
