Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team for a project located in Harrisburg, PA. This role involves business analysis duties for planning and requirement gathering phases, focusing primarily on financial processes. The position is primarily remote but requires occasional onsite presence during key project phases.

Responsibilities

• Perform business analyst duties for planning and requirement gathering phases.
• Facilitate meetings with business leaders to gather process flows, requirements, and other necessary information.
• Conduct reviews and comparisons of current business processes with best practices.
• Anticipate the direction of business areas and recommend new processes or opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into detailed service blueprints, process flow diagrams, agile features, and user stories.
• Enter and track documentation in Azure Development Operations (ADO).
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze existing systems for improvement.
• Identify and define KPIs, including business rules, data sources, and visualization.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with technology staff, business owners, and key clients.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
• Develop and execute test scenarios, scripts, and plans.
• Support training and provide support to end-users and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Lead and participate in project team activities related to enterprise systems.
• Work independently to accomplish assigned tasks and duties.
• Adhere to and follow all company standards, policies, and procedures.

Desired Skillset

• Experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) is a plus.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Figma).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft ADO Testing Module.

Minimum Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst.

Certifications / Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.

Engagement Requirements

• Preferred location within the Continental United States.
• Successful completion of background checks prior to engagement start.
• This position is primarily remote but requires reporting to headquarters in Harrisburg, PA during key project phases.
