**This position is for someone that has a minimum of one-year field experience and is able to get in a van and start performing service. School is not considered field experience.**
Responsibilities for this position includes the installation, maintenance, and repair of PTACs. A Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) is a ductless, through-the-wall heating and cooling system that is normally used in apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals, and senior living facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Diagnose PTAC units
Sell new units and Service Plans
Repair and install PTAC Units
Replace and upgrade existing Wall Sleeves
Perform Preventive Maintenance
On occasion assist with HVAC jobs
Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts and equipment are stocked
Maintain service vehicle, tools, company uniforms, and other related company property
Travel to customer properties and perform work on-site
Electronically submit paperwork related to completion of job duties
Requirements:
One to three years experience in HVAC and/or PTAC service and installation.
Strong problem-solving aptitude.
Must be well groomed and have a neat appearance.
Provide customer service through quality communication to customers.
Must be able to write and speak English clearly.
Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and be able to fulfill the physical demands required.
EPA Certified
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
