We are seeking an extremely organized and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and experience in AR/Collections in senior living who can also use Yardi to create meaningful, analytical reports for our Leadership team to utilize.

Remote in the U.S. - prefer eastern or central time zones, $22-$26/hour.  Anticipated 24 to 26 hours per week.  Must have quiet workspace with good internet accessibility.  Small monthly stipend for phone and internet.

This position reports to the CFO and works with the Controller. and community leadership.

Responsibilities:  Work with Leadership and Accounting teams, outside vendors and representatives, government agencies, and residents and their families or representatives to oversee and collect accounts receivable.  Develop relationships with attorneys to involve when circumstances need escalated.  Create and analyze community financial reports and provide to CFO to utilize in decision making.

Require experience in the following:

  • Senior living accounts receivable and collections
  • Insurance billing, private pay, Medicare, Medicaid Waiver
  • Communicating politely and professionally with residents, families, estates, legal and insurance representatives
  • General accounting practices
  • Yardi systems with ability to pull and analyze reports and provide to CFO

Work Schedule: While there can be some flexibility in work schedule, being able to communicate with legal offices, residents/families, and leadership team will require some weekday availability.  However, due to the nature of your role, the responsibilities it entails, and possible occasional travel requirements, there may be occasions when tasks or projects require work outside of the hours agreed to as standard with your manager. In such instances, flexibility in your schedule will be necessary to ensure the successful completion of your duties.
