Scope of Position

The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction in all pool and recreation areas. This position ensures that all guests enjoy a clean, welcoming, and safe environment while utilizing resort pool facilities.


Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards desirable.

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Frequently required to reach, handle, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all pool and recreation areas, including restrooms and towel stations.

  • Ensure all safety and sanitation standards are consistently met.

  • Monitor guest activity to promote a safe and enjoyable environment.

  • Fold and stock towels, arrange pool furniture, and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.

  • Assist in the supervision of water slides or other pool features as assigned.

  • Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to management.

  • Interact positively with guests, especially children, to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

  • Adhere to all resort policies and procedures.
