Job Title

This role works under the supervision of Manager, HSP Operations with the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Houston Dynamo FC/Houston Dash training facility, the Houston Sports Park.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides excellent service to professional teams, internal departments, leagues, and public rental groups who utilize the facility.
  • Collaborates with professional teams, leagues, and public rental groups to assess needs.
  • Prepares fields for rentals and events which includes set-up (moving goals, bleachers, sideline setups), breakdown (moving goals, cleanup), and conversions.
  • Identifies and reduces risks, park beautification and waste management.
  • Enforces facility procedures and rules.
  • Assists with execution of major events and tournaments.
  • Evacuates patrons in the event of lightning and/or inclement weather.
  • May assist at Shell Energy Stadium for Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash events and other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
  • Must be able to multitask in variable, often inclement weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work non-traditional hours including weekends, nights, and some holidays.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, and/or drag up to 50 pounds (reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform function).

  • Must possess a positive personality with a strong desire to be in the sports industry.
  • Ability to identify problems and their root causes, and to develop and recommend effective solutions.
