Promote the Hoffman Estates Park District and Triphahn Center Ice Rink by delivering high-quality service that meets and exceeds guest expectations at the Ice Box Concession Stand.
Supervision Received
All work is performed under the supervision of the Bar & Grill Service Manager at Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club.
Essential Duties and Requirements:
General Administration
- Open and close the Ice Box concession stand in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accountability for all cash banks and revenue collected during shifts.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for all food and beverage transactions.
- Prepare and serve menu items in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stock and replenish inventory as needed.
- Prepare and submit inventory/order requests to the Bar & Grill Service Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in all work areas.
- Complete assigned side work duties.
- Adhere to dress code and grooming standards at all times.
- Wear required uniform and name tag during all scheduled shifts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Professional Expectations and Customer Service:
- Greet all guests in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner.
- Provide courteous and attentive service at all times.
- Promote and describe daily specials or featured items.
- Communicate accurate and helpful information regarding park district services and programs.
Safety, Health, and Loss Control
- Support and follow all safety, health, and loss control policies established by the Park District.
- Maintain familiarity with and adhere to the Employee Safety Manual.
Marginal Responsibilities
- Communicate with residents, staff, and vendors via telephone as needed.

Pay Rate
$15-$18 per hour

Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Illinois driver's license.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to safely operate equipment required to complete assigned tasks.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without restrictions related to bending or twisting.
- Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and fellow employees in a polite, professional, and businesslike manner.
- Willingness to become familiar with and adhere to all Employee Safety Manuals.
- Ability to perform additional duties as assigned.
