Job Type: Part-time (24 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM (flexible within that window)
Location: Various schools across Palm Beach County (reliable transportation required)
Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 hourly rate
Note: This is a dedicated part-time role, not designed to supplement a full-time teaching position.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one academic coaching to middle and high school students
Support students in developing organizational, study, and learning strategies
Track and review student grades on a weekly basis
Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to support student success
Identify learning patterns and address academic challenges
Assist students with assignments and secure tutors as needed
Use incentives and goal-setting strategies to motivate student progress
Document and submit session notes after each meeting
Participate in student support meetings as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
Teaching experience strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong oral and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and patient
Ability to work confidentially and exercise discretion
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Have reliable transportation
Must have bachelor's degree or higher
