Patina is looking for a part time driver/warehouse assistant. This individual must have morning to early mid afternoon availablility Mon/Tues/Thurs during the week - approximately 20-25 hours/week. Typical shifts start at 8:00am. Valid driver's license and clean accident/driving record required.
Deliver & Pick Up Transfers/Orders
Drive merchandise to other store locations, unloading and reloading with transfer
Deliver customer furniture orders according to company guidelines
Occasionally pick up supplies/orders from local stores
Communicate any problems to the Receiving Manager immediately
Assist Receiving Merchandise
Assist in carrying and organizing daily shipments to the receiving area
Unpack, organize, and divide product according to specifications
Offload shipping containers, delivery vehicles
Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
Warehouse
Assist in pulling min/max quantities
Assist in efficiently organizing and categorizing backstock to prevent damages
Stay familiar with where items are located in warehouse
Prepare Store Transfers
Prepare merchandise to be transferred to other store locations
Package transfer merchandise to minimize damages
Lead team in loading merchandise in transfer vehicle
Price Merchandise
Price merchandise, according to store guidelines/sample
Report damages/defects
Requirements: Attention to detail and ability to move up to 40 - 50 pounds, ability to stand for extended periods of time, bending/lifting/carrying. Offers contingent on clean accident and driving records.
