PT Advanced Technician

Compensation Range:

$14.00 - $14.92

Position Summary:

Hiring Salary Range: $14.00 to $14.92 depending on qualifications.

Provides clerical and administrative support to the Student Activity Department to ensure effective and efficient daily office operations. This Position will also assist with the creation of social media and promotional content for campus events. Coordinates with campus departmental staff members, club organization advisors and members, SGA students and staff. Assists with planning events on and off campus events and activities.

Job Duties:

• Receives incoming calls and responds to questions or directs calls as appropriate.
• Opens, distributes and prioritizes mail.
• Maintains adequate inventory of office supplies and promotional items.
• Refers students with problems and/or complaints to the appropriate department, office or personnel.
• Responsible for data entry required for departmental reports.
• Perform other similar and related duties as requested.
• Provides advanced secretarial, administrative and clerical support to the Student Activities Department to ensure effective and efficient daily office operations.
• Composes and/or types and distributes accurate correspondence, memorandums, administrative procedures, etc. Compiles and prepares various reports as requested.
• Sets-up and maintains current office files and computer databases, both hardcopy and computer files.
