Test Administration:
Conduct standardized tests following precise protocols.
Administer and score neuropsychological tests on research subjects.
Administer clinical assessment/standardized intake instruments, independently develop and employ alternate or modified assessment instruments/strategies as necessary.
Conducts electroencephalograms on patients participating in the project. Studies health records to review for medical conditions which could affect EEG procedures. Explains the procedure to the patients and ensures patient comfort.
Maintains EEG equipment; sharpens, cleans, and sterilizes electrodes.
Testing Support:
Conduct initial screening evaluation of new research subjects.
Schedule testing/intake evaluations. Escort subjects as necessary.
Maintain testing inventories.
Assist in research activities including data collection, data analysis, and data interpretation; training and writing SOPs; and following the protocol to perform testing.
Client/Team Interactions:
Provide clear instructions, manage patient behavior during sessions.
Report observations to supervising psychologist(s).
Maintain a close liaison with the neuropsychology disciplines at the various medical centers.
Data Management:
Enter data accurately and organize results.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.

HJF is seeking a Psychometric Technician to administer, score, and manage psychological and neuropsychological tests while ensuring standardized procedures for assessing cognitive, emotional and behavioral functions. Key duties include conducting initial screening of new subjects, scheduling subjects for testing/intake evaluation, preparing test materials and managing inventories, maintaining precise records, observing client behavior during testing, scoring tests and sometimes providing preliminary data for reports, all while upholding strict confidentiality and collaborating with the clinical team.
This position will be in support of the Army Intrepid Spirit Center, supporting the Neurofeedback and Cognitive Rehabilitation Programs located on the campus of Fort Campbell.
