What Youll Do:
Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on inmate records and interviews
Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical staff, social workers, and security personnel
Develop, implement, and adjust individual treatment plans
Perform rounds in segregation or confined housing areas to assess inmate mental health needs
Provide crisis intervention, mental health counseling, and treatment in accordance with best practices
Address behavioral escalation and mental health changes through targeted interventions
Document evaluations and treatment progress accurately and promptly
What You Need:
Must possess a current US license or be board eligible
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health or correctional settings
Strong knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques
Ability to perform assessments and interventions with diverse populations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
