Our client is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing outpatient behavioral health team serving the Mobile and Spanish Fort communities. This full-time outpatient psychiatry opportunity offers a highly desirable Monday–Friday schedule, collaborative practice environment, and the ability to work closely with experienced PMHNPs and multidisciplinary behavioral health providers. The role includes one weekend of call per month and offers strong clinical and administrative support within a physician-led psychiatry organization.

Psychiatrist Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Provide medication management and individualized treatment planning
- Deliver high-quality outpatient psychiatric care
- Collaborate with PMHNPs, therapists, and multidisciplinary behavioral health teams
- Provide consultative psychiatric services as needed
- Supervise and support advanced practice providers
- Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation
- Participate in shared psychiatrist call rotation

Requirements/Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Psychiatry
- Must have completed a US based residency program
- Alabama medical license or ability to obtain licensure
- Strong interest in outpatient psychiatry and collaborative behavioral healthcare
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
