Psychiatric Technician - Inpatient Dual Diagnosis

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care to patients with dual diagnosis, including those with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. • Administer medications as prescribed by the physician. • Monitor patient behavior and report any changes or concerns to the multidisciplinary team. • Participate in group therapy sessions and other treatment activities.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree in a related field preferred. • Current certification as a psychiatric technician or willingness to obtain certification. • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
