Position Overview:
We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our team. This role focuses on psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with our clinical team of therapists. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who values autonomy, flexibility, and being part of a supportive, mission-driven practice.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
- Provide medication management and follow-up care
- Collaborate with therapists and clinical staff on treatment planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR
- Follow all state, federal, and payer compliance guidelines
Qualifications
For PMHNP:
- Active Florida APRN license
- Board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
For Psychiatrist:
- MD or DO with completed Psychiatry residency
- Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Florida medical license
- DEA license
