Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care for patients.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
• Current PMHNP-BC certification and licensure in the state of Indiana. • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. • Experience in psychiatric care preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations will be considered. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate care. • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule & Setting
Outpatient clinic setting
Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility for patient needs
No overnight call requirements
Inpatient weekend coverage is available for additional compensation opportunity
