Provider Information Tech

Job Description:

This position"s primary responsibility is for the accurate transfer of all non-par provider related information into the corresponding system

locations. Position will be responsible for more complex and detailed provider data entry situations. Additional responsibilities include

loading of non-par provider related information, handling of both individual and departmental route groups (Workflow; Inventory Tracking),

and system testing.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Execution and completion of special projects and assignments as assigned by management
• Ensure appropriate Turnaround Times, Productivity and Quality as determined by management
• Loading of data in FACETS systems
• Keying of accurate information into the current project tracking system
• Recommends training on new processes-ensures procedures are developed
• Advises management on department improvements, needs and other related issues
• Adheres to all BCBST policies and procedures to ensure quality and accurate work
• Participates as team player and advises management of issues adversely impacting the accurate loading and maintenance of

provider information

• Responsible for all other work as determined by management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's Degree preferred
• Experience with Facets preferred
• Must be a team player and have good organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills required
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills
• Research skills and ability to manage simultaneous tasks
• Ability to adapt to new computer programs and applications quickly and efficiently
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Possess a reputation for honesty and integrity

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.21 - $26.21/hr.
