The role is for a Protection Engineer in a leading power engineering consulting firm serving electric utilities, energy developers, and industrial clients across the U.S.
The engineer will provide system protection services such as model development, short circuit analysis, relay settings, coordination studies, and technical reviews. They will also mentor less experienced engineers through training and review.
Requirements include a BSEE or equivalent, 5+ years of protection engineering experience, SEL relay setting expertise, familiarity with ASPEN OneLiner or PSSE CAPE, strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills, and a P.E. license is preferred. Occasional travel and background checks may be required.
