Your ResponsibilitiesAssists in the development of plans and materials required to achieve successful implementation of risk programsDevelops and provides training regarding critical safety measures and guidelinesWorks with team on mid-sized and large loss control surveys, projects, and/or analysesResearches and reports on cost effective plans to minimize accounts lossDevelops information on complex client accounts regarding claims analysis, loss trends, and other specific technical areas, monitoring loss history trends as neededProvides clients and prospects with loss prevention and risk analysis intended to positively impact their loss ratio and premium levelsMakes recommendations for remedying hazardous conditions, practice or potential loss for Client, ensuring causing circumstance to comply with appropriate codes and standardsSurveys locations, equipment, operations, and safety practices and prepares reports that identify potential hazards and related underwriting risksCommunicates and distributes safety, hazard prevention, and loss-control information to ClientAssists Producers in identifying and retaining business through the creation and presentation of loss control servicesUnderstands, evaluates, and interprets insurance company and brokerage recommendationsEnsures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to loss controlEducates Clients on loss control regulations as neededMay provide guidance to junior staff, especially on a project basisPerforms other responsibilities and duties as neededQualificationsTypically requires 3+ years of experience in loss controlKnowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations preferredUnderstands industry trends and governmental regulationsAbility to complete continuing education requirements as neededAbility to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessionsAbility to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company informationAbility to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlinesAbility to travel by automobile and aircraftAbility to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and facsimile machineAbility to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of timeAbility to work outside of normal business hours as neededLegally able to work in the United States#J-18808-Ljbffr
