Overview
Restoration Estimators work with owners adjusters and Project Managers after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to repair damage to residential and commercial property. As a RE you will build relationships with insurance professionals and communicate with property owners the expectations to build the structure back to its original form.

Competitive salary between 70000-85000 based on experience

Role on the Team Job Functions
Write detailed restoration estimates using Xactimate and Symbility
Prepare estimates for both restoration projects and remodeling projects
Clearly communicate expectations with project manager and adjuster onsite as needed
Perform on-site inspections to develop an accurate scope of work
Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding pricing scope and revisions
Document with photos measurements and detailed notes to support estimates
Ensure estimates comply with insurance carrier guidelines and industry standards
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience writing estimates for restoration projects resulting from fire and water damage and remodeling projects
Strong proficiency in Xactimate and Symbility is a must
Experience working with insurance carriers and adjusters
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to manage multiple projects and work independently
Highly organized and professional

Before You Can Take the Field Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The physical environment requires the employee to work all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment having ability to stand or walk occasionally bending squatting climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds. You must also have a valid drivers license and consent to a background check.
